CATHERINE CALLAWAY, CNN ANCHOR: Let's check in now with Travelocity's air traffic expert Rally Caparas who has his "Eye on the Sky."
Rally, where are the planes flying on time and where are the delays this morning?

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Catherine.

Well, we've seen some excellent conditions up and down the East Coast over the last four or five days. From Boston all the way to Miami and all the major airports in between, they will see excellent flight conditions and on time flight schedules all day long once again. It's not going to last much longer though, enjoy it while it lasts.

Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, in the Great Lakes region, they're delay free this morning. However, later on this afternoon and evening we will start to see some low clouds, some light rain and some poor airport surface visibility create 30-minute arrival delays as pilots need to separate themselves or actually air traffic control will separate the airplanes by an increased distance as the arrival rates into those airports is dramatically reduced. So 30-minute arrival delays not too bad into those major airports.

Dallas-Forth Worth and Houston, however, they are right in the bull's eye of a severe weather event as Chad's been telling us all morning long. So expect 30 to 45 minute arrival delays and departure delays due to those low clouds, periods of heavy rain and limited flight routes due to thunderstorm activity which will reduce the number of flight routes into and out of those airports basically from about 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Central Time.

Out on the West Coast, Seattle-Tacoma Airport will see 30-minute arrival delays throughout the day. Low clouds, rain, fog, strong wind and poor airport surface visibility will be the problem there as well into the evening hours.

And then finally on the West Coast, San Francisco International, they'll see more of what they've seen for almost two weeks now, 30 to 45 minute arrival delays, low clouds, rain, poor surface visibility and poor runway configurations because of a southeasterly wind. It dramatically decreases the arrival rates into those -- I'm sorry, into San Francisco International.

But overall, the rest of the country should see on time flight conditions and schedules. Not too bad of a day except for those limited number of trouble spots throughout the nation this morning -- Catherine.

CALLAWAY: Thank you -- Rally.

CAPARAS: Back to you in the studio (ph).

CALLAWAY: Thank you. Have a great day.
