LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: A suspect is in custody in Yemen, accused of shooting four American hospital workers. Three of them died.
Now, the attack happened this morning at a U.S.-funded missionary hospital in the town of Jibla.

Walid Al-Saqqaf is of the "Yemen Times," and he joins us now on the telephone from Yemen's capital city, Sanaa.

Hello, sir. What is the very latest on this story?

WALID AL-SAQQAF, "YEMEN TIMES": Yes, the latest is that the attacker held now by the authorities has openly said that he's been very much delighted in killing those missionaries, because he thinks that it's the way to get closer to God.

Of course, this only resembles an exaggerated, oh, let's say, a fundamentalist example of extreme Islamic fundamentalism. That may be true (UNINTELLIGIBLE). And not only are Americans, but even Yemenis are outraged at this development preceding the New Year. So, it's been very frustrating.

HARRIS: Thank you very much. We'll try to get some more information on this story later on. Walid Al-Saqqaf of the "Yemen Times," thank you very much.
