CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: All right, we have to talk about something good now. We've got to like make the move, go up, because it's Friday.
JOHN VAUSE, CNN ANCHOR: It's Friday.

COSTELLO: It's time to talk sports. Round two of the NFL playoffs kicks off tomorrow.

VAUSE: Yes, Dave Johnson, Sports Director of WTOP in Washington, is on the phone with a preview -- good morning.

DAVE JOHNSON, SPORTS DIRECTOR, WTOP WASHINGTON: Good morning, I'm looking forward to this because last Sunday I sat on a tarmac at Dulles Airport while it was snowing for five hours while two of the six greatest comebacks in NFL history were going on.

COSTELLO: You're kidding?

JOHNSON: No, I missed them.

COSTELLO: That's torture.

JOHNSON: I missed them. So tomorrow the Wizards are in New York to play the Nicks. I'm going to sit in my hotel room and watch these games. There's some good ones. Pittsburgh plays Tennessee tomorrow. You've got the comeback kid of the year, Tommy Maddox for the Pittsburgh Steelers, taking on the Tennessee Titans. And the Titans...

COSTELLO: Yes, let's talk about that game for just a second because do you think Pittsburgh really has a chance, because even though it was an amazing comeback, they didn't play all that well against the Browns?

JOHNSON: No, I don't think they have a chance, actually, you're right. But...

(LAUGHTER)

JOHNSON: ... watch it.

VAUSE: Moving on.

JOHNSON: You hit the point -- you hit the point right there. I mean they probably shouldn't be in the second round, and I think the Titans at home are going to be too much for them tomorrow. But you never can count out Tommy Maddox and it is a Steelers team that's playing with a lot of emotion. And also you probably can't count on a team that comes back like that, even though I was stuck on an airplane while it's going on.

COSTELLO: You poor thing. Hey, what do you think will be the most exciting game of the weekend?

JOHNSON: Well I am looking forward to the other part of Saturday, the Eagles -- the Eagles-Falcons game because you got Michael Vick. I think any time he's...

COSTELLO: Oh, against Donovan McNabb.

JOHNSON: Yes, and you want to see what McNabb is doing. Is he -- is he going to be healthy enough? He's had time off because of the ankle injury. And any time you have Michael Vick involved in the ballgame and they're coming off that win over Green Bay. I mean nobody goes on the road and beats Green Bay in Green Bay and Atlanta did that and part of that was Michael Vick. But what typically would have been a sack, he turned into about 70 yards.

COSTELLO: Oh he's amazing. And Michael Vick and Donovan McNabb are very similar quarterbacks so it really should be a dogfight.

JOHNSON: Yes, no, it's going to be a marquee for scramblers tomorrow. It's going to keep both defenses busy actually tomorrow night from Philadelphia, but McNabb I think is a -- is a question mark because of his time off. But here's a guy that did play on that broken ankle and lead a team to victory. So again, there's a guy that's a proven winner.

COSTELLO: Oh, I can't wait, I got the pizza already ordered.

VAUSE: Well we know what you're doing this weekend, don't we?

COSTELLO: Oh yes, you got that right.

VAUSE: Pizza on the speed dial and yes, whatever...

COSTELLO: Dave Johnson, many thanks to you.
