CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: So you ask are you in for a morning in the airport waiting and waiting and waiting? Travelocity's air traffic expert Rally Caparas is here who always has your "Eye on the Sky."
So tell us, are we due to wait long periods in the airport today and where?

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Carol, I'll tell you, we've had some excellent conditions over the last few weeks, as a matter of fact, well, a couple of weeks now, and it looks like we're going to continue to see that. However, by the end of this month you'll start to see thunderstorm activity, believe it or not, in the southeast and around the Gulf Coast. So, this'll be more important a little bit later. But we do have some delays that are developing. We'll get right to it right now. Let's go to the graphics.

If you're headed in to or out of the East Coast today, folks, you're looking at excellent conditions and on-time flight schedules all day. From Miami all the way up to Boston and all airports in between, you're in for a treat. Enjoy them while they last.

Over in the West, well, actually in the Great Lakes region, Chicago O'Hare Airport, they'll see 30-minute arrival and departure delays. They'll have some departure flight de-icing early but clearing later this afternoon, or actually, later this morning, we'll see some improved conditions and on-time flight schedules thereafter.

Down in Houston, the George Bush Airport, when the temperature and the dew point get together, Chad said this to you before, we start to see fog. Well, the winds are calm down there right now, it's very likely we'll see some fog, expect some arrival delays this morning of 30 to 45 minutes. The closer you are to Houston's George Bush Airport the more likely you are to receive some type of a delay because of that fog.

Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport over in the southwest, they'll continue to see 15 to 30-minute arrival delays and departure delays due to the runway and taxiway construction that will be ongoing until February the 28th.

And then finally on the West Coast, San Francisco, they won't see much rain today but they will see some marine layer fog roll in early. It should be gone by about 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Until then you'll see 30-minute arrival delays.

Not a bad day at all for air travel. I'll be back in the morning, Carol, with you...

COSTELLO: All right.

CAPARAS: ... with more from Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky."

COSTELLO: Thanks for your help, we appreciate it, Rally Caparas.
