CHARLES FELDMAN, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Eric Dubin, you represent the Bakley family, the children -- the estate of the children of Robert Blake and Bonny Lee Bakley. You just heard me say, Robert Blake apparently wants to talk to everybody. He wants to talk to Barbara Walters. He want to talk to the press. He doesn't want to talk to you when you depose him today. Why not?
ERIC DUBIN, PLAINTIFF'S ATTY.: We'll find out. The camera will be rolling and he will have a fair chance to tell the truth. I don't know why he would be secretive in the real case and trial, in the criminal and civil case, and then be so open with scheduling media interviews. It doesn't make any sense to me.

FELDMAN: OK, but you know that his criminal lawyer, at least one of the criminal lawyers who's still left on this case, he is ordering him, he says, not to answer any one of your questions. What do you make of that?

DUBIN: He's the same guy that set up an interview with Barbara Walters last week, so I don't what to believe anymore. All I know is, he's ordered to be here. My questions will be fair, and I promise you, and everybody. I will give Mr. Blake a fair chance to say anything he wants, and if he wants to get his story out, today is the day.

FELDMAN: What are going to do? Are you going to stand there all day and say , Mr. Blake, did you do this? Mr. Blake, did you do that, and he's going keep saying, according to his lawyer, I'm not answering you? What are you going to do then, just stand there?

DUBIN: If it was me charged with a crime I didn't commit, I'd be screaming at everybody, listen to me, I didn't do it. I don't see any harm in Mr. Blake going on camera and saying, I did not commit this horrific murder, if in fact he didn't commit the murder.

FELDMAN: Eric Dubin, I'm sure you're going to come out later and tell us and the world whether or not Robert Blake said anything to you.

DUBIN: I promise you I'm not dropping out. I believe in my case.

FELDMAN: Very good. Eric Dubin represents the Bakley family in the civil wrongful death suit against Robert Blake -- Leon.

LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: All right, Charles, what do you think? Is Blake shooting for an insanity plea or what? It seems he's not making sense as he goes along on this whole thing.

FELDMAN: Very strange.

HARRIS: Thanks, buddy. Charles Feldman, reporting live from Burbank. We'll see you later on buddy.
