Golden Globe Gift Boxes Exciting, Expensive

FREDRICKA WHITFIELD, CNN ANCHOR: Well, this Sunday we'll find out which actors will go home with Golden Globe awards, but the winners won't be the only ones getting prizes.
Our Daryn Kagan has that end of the story.

KAGAN: That we are. We're talking about stuff.
WHITFIELD: I can't wait.
KAGAN: If our viewers haven't been with us earlier, want to give them an idea of where we are. We are in a big tent on the edge of Beverly Hills here. This is going to be, actually, one of the hottest parties on Sunday night. "In Style" magazine is not only throwing this party, which, trust me, will be a lot more pulled together by Sunday night, they are also providing the gift boxes for all the presenters, $12,000.
And here to give us a peek inside is Kelly -- Kelly Austing. She is with "In Style" magazine -- good morning, thanks for joining us.
KELLY AUSTIN, "IN STYLE": Good morning, Daryn.
KAGAN: Interesting that this used to be a gift bag, but now there's so much good stuff you had to go to the box.
AUSTING: It has grown every year, and this year, this is the most expensive gift bag we've ever done.
KAGAN: $12,000.
AUSTING: $12,000.
KAGAN: Let's waste no more time. Let's go ahead and take a look inside. I showed off this jade necklace earlier...
AUSTING: It's beautiful. Looks great on you.
KAGAN: ... $200.
AUSTING: Exactly. I'm actually wearing the Zodiac Swiss watch which is valued...
KAGAN: Leon might like that. That's $895?
AUSTING: Correct.
KAGAN: Now, a big chunk of this gift basket is taken by the spa package, $5,000.
AUSTING: Sanctuary Spa in the Camelback Mountains in Arizona. Gorgeous. Accommodations, spa treatments, pure luxury, all taken care of.
KAGAN: Good stuff. This looks fun too, these Escada (ph) -- oops, I am dropping stuff all over -- these Escada (ph) sunglasses.
AUSTING: Men's and women's, they get two pairs, so the gift bag is unisex and it helps everyone.
KAGAN: So it is good for whomever.
AUSTING: Correct.
KAGAN: Excellent. Tell me about the phone that you have your hands on right there.

KAGAN: Yes -- I think I need e-mail a little bit more than that. As long as we're on that electronic bent, let's go over to TiVo.

AUSTING: Correct. Correct. There's a number of presenters each year. There's probably around 50 presenters this year, and it's all the celebrities, and they all get to take this home with them.

AUSTING: Hot ticket, very excited. It's going to be a very fun party. We're here to celebrate the best in film and television, and we can't wait.
KAGAN: It is going to be fun. And after the Golden Globes, as we have found out, they serve Champagne.
AUSTING: Exactly.
KAGAN: So the party continues here. Actually, I'm going to stop by this party so our viewers can see on Monday exactly what happens. I will bring my dancing shoes, which will not, Leon, be these. There's no way I could dance in those little shoes.
