HEIDI COLLINS, CNN ANCHOR: Right now the two top U.N. weapons experts are giving a news conference in Baghdad. Hans Blix and Mohamed ElBaradei held a second round of talks today with Iraqi officials.
Rym Brahimi has more.

RYM BRAHIMI, CNN CORRESPONDENT: The two U.N. chief weapons inspectors, Hans Blix and Mohamed ElBaradei, have again had a very long meeting at the foreign ministry. We understand just now that they also met with Iraq's foreign ministry, Dr. Naji Sabri.

Now, the officials included in that meeting include, of course, Iraq's top scientific adviser, General Amir Al-Saadi, as well as officials from the National Monitoring Directorate, the sort of interlocutors of the U.N. weapons inspectors. They had a similar meeting, a two hour meeting, with the same officials yesterday. And that meeting, that was when Iraq disclosed four additional empty chemical warheads, a sign, the two chief U.N. weapons inspectors say, that Iraq may be getting the message that it needs to be more forthcoming, in their view.

Now, the two chief U.N. weapons inspectors also met yesterday with Iraq's vice president, Taha Yassin Ramadan. Now, he also, he had previously, a couple of months ago, he had accused the U.N. weapons inspectors of gathering intelligence rather than really searching for weapons of mass destruction. That meeting we'll hope to hear about shortly when Hans Blix and Mohamed ElBaradei brief reporters in a little while from now -- back to you.

COLLINS: All right, Rym Brahimi reporting live this morning from Baghdad.
