HEIDI COLLINS, CNN ANCHOR: Lots going on worldwide. Let's get a check now of our international stories and the international desk with Eli Flournoy -- how are you?
ELI FLOURNOY, CNN SENIOR INTERNATIONAL EDITOR: I'm good. I'm good. We've got...

COLLINS: Very busy.

FLOURNOY: Very busy. The Iraq story has got us fanned out across the globe. Of course, Nic Robertson is at the presser with Mohamed ElBaradei and Hans Blix and the Iraqi scientists. We are just seeing some of the video from that press conference. We're going to be getting more of that soon. We're going to be hearing more from Nic and from Rym Brahimi, reporting out of Baghdad.

COLLINS: Right.

FLOURNOY: And then Hans Blix and Mohamed ElBaradei are going to be heading from Baghdad to Athens, Greece later today.

COLLINS: Right. Do we know why they're going there now?

FLOURNOY: Yes, they're going to be meeting with the foreign minister and then they're going to be heading directly back to New York to report back to the United Nations after their trip.

COLLINS: OK.

FLOURNOY: So we've got Richard Roth, who is in Athens, Greece, who's going to pick up with Baradei and Blix there.

COLLINS: Great. OK.

FLOURNOY: And then head back to the United Nations, where later today we also have a major meeting of foreign ministers of 13 of the 15 Security Council members are going to be meeting. So we're going to be getting some coverage later on today at the United Nations from there.

COLLINS: Great.

FLOURNOY: Now, also, another press conference that we're waiting to get word from, you can see right now that journalists are gathering in Ankara, Turkey, you can see there a live picture, waiting for the presser from General Richard Myers, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. COLLINS: So it's very interesting where our forces are.

FLOURNOY: Our -- exactly. Our Jane Arraf is somewhere in there in the front of the room. I don't think you can see her in this picture, but she is waiting to ask some questions and get some more information, find out more about whether or not Turkey is going to allow U.S. ground forces to be based in Turkey in any possible conflict with Iraq. So that's going to be very important to hear.

Also in London later today, we've just now got word that we are going to be hearing later today from the British Ministry of Defense about more troops possibly being committed to a possible war with Iraq. And we expect to hear from the British Ministry of Defense later today, as well.

COLLINS: All right, you've had enough coffee, I hope.

FLOURNOY: Yes, I think I've got enough to keep us going.

COLLINS: A very busy morning, indeed.

All right, very good.

We will touch back with you and all of the troops of our own a little bit later on today.

FLOURNOY: Right. Thanks, Heidi.

COLLINS: Thanks a lot, Eli.

FLOURNOY: Sure.
