CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Know a lot of you are waiting to take off for the airport, but hold on for just a second, we want to check in with Travelocity's air traffic expert Rally Caparas who always has his "Eye on the Sky." Joins us live by phone.
Give us the rundown -- Rally.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAVEL SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol.

Well, if you're fortunate enough to fly today, folks, we're looking at a pretty decent day. However, in the northeast, if you're headed into Boston's Logan, Newark Liberty or LaGuardia airports, you'll see delay-free conditions. But as we get closer to the afternoon and evening, 30 to 45-minute arrival delays will kick in as strong northwest winds could force single runway operations. You can expect it at LaGuardia. The other two are on the edge so 30 to 45- minute arrival delays are likely.

Atlanta Hartsfield, we're delay free at the moment, but this afternoon and evening we will see low clouds, some rain, reduced airport surface visibility move into the area. That's going to force pilots and air traffic controllers to rely more on their instruments and that means 30-minute arrival delays because of increased spacing.

The nation's midsection, however, looking clear, dry. Good flight conditions and on-time schedules all day long.

Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport in the southwest, they'll see 15 to 30-minute arrival and departure delays as they have for the last couple of weeks. That'll continue through February the 28th due to runway and taxiway construction.

And then finally on the West Coast, Seattle, Tacoma and San Francisco, they're used to this kind of thing, 30-minute arrival delays through about noon Pacific Time. There's marine fog, it rolls in and then rain will also contribute to the delays. We should see some clearing and on-time schedules in the afternoon and evening.

Carol, I'll be back in the studios with more from Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky." Have a great one.

COSTELLO: You too. Always a great help, Rally Caparas with his "Eye on the Sky" this morning.
