CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: As I told you a few moments ago, a soldier has been accidentally shot in Kuwait during training exercises. He was shot in the stomach. We believe he is in stable condition in a Kuwaiti hospital.
Let's go to Kuwait City right now to check in with Bill Hemmer -- good morning, Bill.

BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: Carol, hello again from Kuwait City.

Listen, these live fire exercises have been under way virtually for weeks, and sometimes on a daily basis. No surprise that the exercises continue, though. However, this shooting, though, certainly a cause for concern. We're told again, as you mentioned, stable condition. And right now that shooting is under investigation. It's been labeled an accident, but more from the military when we get it.
