CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Don't leave just yet to catch that plane out of here because we have word of travel delays from Travelocity's air traffic expert Rally Caparas who always has his "Eye on the Sky."
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Yes, well I have my eyes on you right now and it's not a bad view that I have here.

COSTELLO: I like this man.

CAPARAS: Good morning, folks.

Well, if you're traveling today, it's obviously going to busy -- going to be a busy travel day. Friday always is, those of you on your business trips and then early getaway. Get out of town, go have fun.

Here's where the problems are going to be, not in the Northeast, however. From Boston to the D.C. Metros, you're going to see a great day for flying, good conditions, on-time schedules all day long.

Atlanta Hartsfield and Charlotte, the weather's not so bad, but low clouds and fog are going to create some visibility problems at the airport. So in the first half of the day, expect 30 to 45-minute arrival delays. The fog doesn't affect departures much, arrival delays, keep that in mind.

Chicago O'Hare and Midway, they'll see some nasty weather throughout the day. Those 30 to 45-minute arrival delays you see on the screen may blow up into 60 to 90 delays. The reason for that, low clouds, snow, de-icing and then runway treatments. They got to go out there, shut the airports down, go out there and treat the airport surface. So be ware of those conditions.

St. Louis Lambert, they're seeing some low clouds, some rain, off-and-on snow. It should improve by noon or so, so expect 30-minute arrival and departure delays until then Central Time.

Phoenix Sky Harbor, we've told you for about the last three weeks now, runway and taxiway construction leads to short-term delays of 15 to 30 minutes into and out of that airport.

And then finally on the West Coast, San Francisco International, the marine layer fog, you could probably say it by now, rolls in. Should be gone by, well, noon usually, but today it looks like it could linger until about 3:00 p.m.

I'll be back with more on Monday with more from Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky." Have a great weekend.

COSTELLO: You too, Rally, thanks a lot.

CAPARAS: All right.
