CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: I certainly hope you're on your way to somewhere warm and wonderful. But before you waltz out the door, you've got to stick around for Travelocity's air traffic expert. Rally Caparas is here and has his "Eye on the Sky."
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Yes, I do, as usual. It's going to be kind of a weird day. Looks really beautiful outside. Chad can vouch for that. We have mostly clear conditions all over the country, folks, but don't let those clear skies fool you.

Here's how it's going to happen. The wind is going to be a problem. We promised you yesterday lots of delays in the Northeast, you got them, you know 45, 60 minutes into New York, Boston, those airports. Today it's going to be similar, not as severe though.

Up in the Northeast today, Boston and Philadelphia airports, they'll see 30-minute arrival delays because of the strong gusting winds. It's already hit about 30, 35 nauts. Hopefully it won't be so bad later on this afternoon and evening.

Newark and LaGuardia airports, they're the most susceptible to arrival delays because of the runway configurations and the strong winds. You can expect 45-minute arrival delays because of those winds and the single runway operations that it usually forces at those airports.

Pittsburgh, they're still seeing a little bit of light snow, some freezing temperatures, obviously, and you'll see some departure flight de-icing early. Should be gone by around noon Eastern Time.

Phoenix Sky Harbor, we've told you for about the last month or so there's 15 to 30-minute arrival and departure delays so you can't be surprised. Just minimal delays there. Runway and taxiway construction continues through February the 28.

Up in the great Northwest, Seattle-Tacoma Airport, they'll see 30-minute arrival delays, low clouds and fog. Temperature and dew point are about the same. You've heard Chad explain why fog happens, well it's going to happen today and it'll stick around until noon Pacific Time.

And then finally San Francisco International, they're going to see the wind come out of the northeast. Kind of strange, it usually comes out of the west. Well northeast today, runway configuration is a problem. Expect 30-minute arrival delays into San Francisco all day long. Carol, I'll talk to you on the phone tomorrow morning with more from Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky."

COSTELLO: OK, we'll look forward to it. Thank you -- Rally.

CAPARAS: Sure.
