CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you're grabbing your coat and heading for the airport, hold on. As you just saw, Travelocity's air traffic expert, Rally Caparas, is here. And you always have your "Eye on the Sky" so we're ready for possible delays.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Carol, today I will actually have my eye in the sky or actually I'll be in the sky today. I depart out of Atlanta later on this afternoon, right around noon or so, and I'm going to Dallas. And I can tell you, for all of us that are doing that, not so good news and it's going to be a long, long day today, folks, for many people flying.

Chad showed you the weather. I'll tell you how it's going to affect you today. If you're headed into the Northeast, Boston, New York City Metros and the Philadelphia Airport, congratulations, you have one more day of excellent flight conditions and on-time schedules. But I promise you tomorrow will be a big change. Tune in, we'll be right here with the latest "Eye on the Sky" report.

The D.C. Metropolitan airports will see much of the same, mostly delay-free conditions until later on this evening, then low clouds and snow, possible de-icing move in. Expect 30-minute arrival delays thereafter.

Atlanta, Charlotte, Memphis and Nashville, beginning around noon Eastern Time you will see some low clouds, some snow even, maybe not here in Atlanta, but Memphis, Nashville. Even Charlotte's expected to see a little bit of snow. Lots of weather and the low clouds primarily will slow arrivals down to about -- to the tune of about 30 to 45 minutes and that's going to last well into the evening hours.

Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati-Covington, 30 to 45-minute arrival delays primarily in the afternoon and evening. Low clouds and snow with the lake effect stuff, some de-icing could slow departures down but delays will be a problem there also.

St. Louis Lambert Airport, 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays are very likely beginning later this morning. Low clouds and snow, de-icing, the whole bit there also.

Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston's George Bush, 30-minute arrival delays are likely throughout the entire day. Some low clouds, rain, should move out later during the evening rush.

And then finally, Phoenix Sky Harbor, the same old story, 15 to 30-minute arrival and departure delays. Runway construction will continue until February the 28th. Wish me luck, I hope I don't get stuck too long today.

COSTELLO: Man, good luck. Good luck -- Rally.

CAPARAS: Thanks.

COSTELLO: Thanks very much. We'll check back with you tomorrow by phone, right?

CAPARAS: Right.
