CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: The weather outside is frightening in a lot of places. And if you're flying today, you know what that means.
Travelocity's air traffic expert, Rally Caparas, is live from Travelocity headquarters in Dallas. Always have your "Eye on the Sky" from your headquarters this time. Give us the rundown.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Carol, I'll be having my eye on my computer every once in a while while I'm talking through this so bear with me. But I'm going to move quickly because there's lots going on, as you already know, according to Chad's weather report.

Boston and the New York City Metros, it's going to be a long, long wait for folks headed into that airport today. Departures will get some lengthy delays. Ninety to 120-minute arrival and departure delays. There'll be a lot of people in the terminals, a lot of cancellations. Bear with the people at the airlines, they've just gone through a lot of cuts, very few people to service you, be patient, but there will be major delays all day and into the evening.

Philadelphia and the D.C. Metros, Chad told you that you're on the last part of that major snowstorm as it moves through. Sixty to 90-minute delays early. The runways are going to be closed for snow removal until around 6:30 or so. Expect conditions and schedules to improve in the p.m.

Atlanta and Charlotte, low clouds, poor visibility, 30 to 45- minute arrival delays, improving conditions after noon.

Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati-Covington, 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays, low clouds, some snow, de-icing, that will improve in the afternoon and evening hours also for the evening rush.

Tampa and Orlando, haven't had any delays in a long time, 30- minute arrival delays. Low clouds and fog, it reduces the airport surface visibility, need more time for separation in between flights.

And then finally Phoenix Sky Harbor, the only airport with any concerns west of the Mississippi River today, 15 to 30-minute arrival and departure delays. Runway and Taxiway construction.

It's going to be a long day in the East, folks, so you know grab some coffee, make a friend, do some crossword puzzles, you'll get out of there eventually. I'll be back in the next half hour.

COSTELLO: OK, thanks for the advice. Rally Caparas has his "Eye on the Sky" this morning.
