LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: Let's talk now to Sandra Lee about what to do this week. This is a very special week, it's Valentine's week, and we've got some sweet treats that you might want to share this Friday.
Hey, Sandra, how's it going?

SANDRA LEE, SEMI-HOMEMADE COOKING: Good morning, Leon. Thanks for having me again.

HARRIS: Let's see what you got.

LEE: Well, what we're going to do today is work on some homemade bon-bons. And I have to tell you, I was watching Paula earlier this morning, and she was talking about how, you know, this week is really the biggest shopping week for chocolates of all time.

HARRIS: I've heard that.

LEE: It is, yes. And if you want a new twist on that, there's over six million boxes of bon-bons sold at movie theaters every year. There's a quick way to make them at home, the semi-homemade way -- 70 percent store-bought ready made, 30 percent fresh ingredients, 100 percent credit to you -- semi-homemade.

So what I've done here, Leon, is I've taken a one-inch melon baller, and I've scooped out just some vanilla ice cream on to a cookie sheet. Now these are just melted chocolate chips. And all you do is drizzle that, coat that on here, and stick that into the freezer, and you are going to have beautiful bon-bons.

Now, I'd love to take credit for this idea, but I actually was reading Oprah's magazine. She's got an incredible spread on chocolates a couple of months ago, and that's who inspired this, so I want to thank her, of course.

HARRIS: I want to see about this tower. Show us this tower you've got here in front of you.

LEE: This is a wonderful won-ton. It's a raspberry, strawberry won-ton, and it's made with just won-tons out of the grocery store that you fry, and then you put some sugar and some cinnamon on here, kind of like the elephant ears at the state fair, remember those? And you stack them up with cool whip and berries, cool whip and berries. You top it off with mints. It's delicious, it's fresh, it's healthful, and it's a very nice dessert.

Now I want to give you a couple ideas.

HARRIS: Real quick -- we're getting short on time.

LEE: I wanted to give you ideas which is a spin on flowers. When you're giving a floral bouquet, it's always nice to give something today, or this Friday, on Valentine's, and then every single month have a gift that comes in the mail. So I suggest just buying store bought, just a nice bouquet like this, and putting some maybe stems of orchids that you buy separately, and then giving it with a magazine that maybe every single month your wife or loved one will cherish and remind her, more kudos for you, of how wonderful you are.

HARRIS: That's the way it always is going to go, from a guy to gal, we understand that.

LEE: And a love letter. Remember the love letter. Much more important than a hallmark card.

HARRIS: I got you on that one. I'm taking notes, Sandra.

Thanks, Sandra. Appreciate the tips. Those are tips any guy can follow.
