Al-Jazeera to Air Statement

MARTIN SAVIDGE, CNN ANCHOR: We want to update you now on that information regarding the purported statement coming from Osama bin Laden. Al-Jazeera television -- that is the Arab satellite television network -- says, in fact it does have a statement now, even though it had denied it earlier. That statement purportedly coming from Osama bin Laden, and in that statement Al-Jazeera television says that Osama bin Laden urges Muslims to show solidarity for Iraq. It is expected that statement will be broadcast on Al-Jazeera shortly -- or a short time from now.
