CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: I know you have to get to the airport right now, but before you dash to your cab, hold on, we've got Travelocity's air traffic expert Rally Caparas who always has his "Eye on the Sky." He joins us by phone this morning.
Rally, give us the rundown.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol.

Well finally the people in the Northeast will get to see some decent weather conditions. Clear skies and they should see mostly on- time schedules. However, if you're flying in to Boston's Logan, Newark or LaGuardia airports this morning, you could see 30 to 45- minute arrival delays as strong gusty winds could force single runway operations there. But the volume shouldn't be significant, and we could get by without delays into those major airports so keep your fingers crossed.

Philadelphia to Miami, and all those major airports in between, will see excellent flight conditions and on-time schedules all day long, some good news for a change.

Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati-Covington will start the day delay free. But by around midday, 1:00 Eastern, you will start to see 30-minute arrival and departure delays as snow, de- icing and poor visibility hit that region once again.

Houston's George Bush down in Texas, they'll see 30 to 45-minute arrival delays early due to low clouds and fog. Reduced visibility, almost impossible to see down the runway right now, but that should be gone no later than noon Central Time.

Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport will experience their typical 15 to 30-minute arrival and departure delays due to their runway and taxiway construction, which ends on February the 28th, thank goodness.

And then finally at Los Angeles International, it's raining so expect short 15 to 30-minute arrival delays of the airborne holding variety because of the low clouds and rain all day.

That'll do it for me this morning. I'll be back tomorrow in the studios with you, Carol, with more from Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky."

COSTELLO: All right, Rally, many thanks to you.
