CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you are off to see your valentine by plane, we've got news. It's time to check in with Rally Caparas, our "Eye on the Sky."
Love is in the air or will it be delayed?

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Well they'll have plenty of opportunities to hug and kiss one another if they're flying together in the terminals today, Carol.

Here's what's happening, folks. If you're headed in to or out of the busy East Coast airports, Boston all the way down to Miami International, you're in for a treat, excellent conditions and on-time schedules throughout the day. However, there will be a little bit of cloud and low -- well, some rain. We're already seeing it here in Atlanta at Atlanta Hartsfield and Charlotte airports and that will lead to 30-minute arrival delays during the afternoon and evening. Nothing major, don't panic.

However, the central part of the United States, they're going to see a lot of delays today if the weather continues to move in the -- in the direction that it's going. We're looking at Minneapolis-St. Paul and Chicago O'Hare, they're delay free at the moment, but expect later afternoon and early evening, 60-minute-plus arrival and departure delays. Wintry mix, de-icing, it's going to move in, it's going to be a nasty situation.

St. Louis and Dallas, they'll see 30-minute arrival delays starting very soon. Low clouds, rain, fog, possible thunderstorm activity in the Texas area. Houston could get pulled into this. Almost like a springtime kind of weather pattern.

Phoenix and Las Vegas, last night they saw lengthy delays of one to two and even three hours. They're going to see 30-minute to 45- minute arrival delays for most of today. There's a clearing trend out there.

And then finally, San Francisco International, low clouds, some marine layer fog, some rain. It should be moving out by the p.m. They should have pretty good conditions thereafter.

Have a great weekend, folks, and good luck in the central U.S. traveling today. I'll be back on Monday morning with more from Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky" -- Carol.

COSTELLO: Good enough. Thank you -- Rally.

CAPARAS: Happy Valentine's Day.

COSTELLO: Yes, happy Valentine's Day to you, too.
