PAULA ZAHN, CNN ANCHOR: Now I get to check in with the two guys here in New York.
ANDY SERWER, "FORTUNE" MAGAZINE: Yes.

ZAHN: Andy and Jack. How are you?

SERWER: I'm fine. We're having a little fun here this morning.

JACK CAFFERTY, CNN ANCHOR: Absolutely.

ZAHN: We are, aren't we?

CAFFERTY: It's Valentine's Day.

ZAHN: We've had a little too much chocolate.

SERWER: It's Friday. We're having a good time.

ZAHN: We're having that sugar high.

SERWER: Yes.

ZAHN: OK.

SERWER: Despite the market contingency -- I've got a one-track mind. I'm always thinking about the stock market, which was down yesterday, Paula, about 8 points on the Dow. It could have been worse. It was down triple digits earlier in the day. A lot of market rumors -- war rumors sweeping through the markets, not helping things at all.

The futures are mixed this morning. Hans Blix will be on everyone's mind on Wall Street. Dell Computer could be moving on to the upside, because yesterday they said they're still selling a whole lot of computers, no matter what's going on in the economy. However, McDonald's, one of our favorite companies we like to talk about, continues to struggle. The stock dropped to an eight-year low yesterday. And at some point, that becomes a stock for investors to buy, because McDonald's is not going out of business.

ZAHN: Sure.

SERWER: But they've got to get things right.

Anyway, again though, Hans Blix will be the subject that everyone will be watching on Wall Street, like the rest of us.

ZAHN: And our special coverage gets under way in just about an hour-and-10 minutes from now.

SERWER: That's right.
