CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: We want to get the latest now on airport closings and flight delays caused by this massive winter storm. Luckily we have Travelocity's air traffic expert in the house. Rally Caparas always has his "Eye on the Sky."
Good morning -- Rally.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol. I'm not quite in the house, but I'm on the TV that's for sure.

I'll tell you, I'm here in Charleston, South Carolina, in a makeshift situation, excuse me while I glance at my computer. But as you know, things are changing very rapidly and it's going to be a very, very tough travel day, especially up there in the Northeast.

Here's what's happening for you, folks. The snow is going to create some major, very lengthy delays. Baltimore-Washington and some of those airports are actually still closed at the moment. We'll get to that in just a second.

But if you're flying in to or out of Boston Logan this morning, you're delay free as it stands right now. The snow is moving in, the low clouds are getting there. You can expect 60-minute arrival and departure delays this afternoon and evening. It's going to get even worse than that is what my bet is. Stand by, I'll be back throughout the show to give you more updates.

New York City Metropolitan airports, expect 60 to 90-minute arrival and departure delays as the snow is dumping there. It's going to get worse as the day goes on. Expect lots of cancellations. Get to the airport, be patient, the gate agents can't do anything about this. Keep that in mind and you'll be able to get out eventually or in to New York eventually.

Philadelphia Airport, they just reopened the airport, cleaned out some snow, 60 to 90-minute arrival delays. There'll be some cancellations in to and out of that airport. Once again, a great day to make some friends in the airport, get to know some people, drink some coffee, do a crossword puzzle or 10.

All right. Baltimore-Washington and Reagan National, they are closed. They're not even scheduled to be open until around 11:00 or noon. I anticipate that'll be sooner. Late this evening, we're expecting possibly even some clearing in that area. But stand by, I'm sure the weather people with CNN will give you more information on that. And then finally Cleveland and Pittsburgh, let's throw Cincinnati-Covington into the mix, the snow is moving out of that area. You still have some lighter snow. The build up overnight, it's going to cause you 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays throughout most of the day. And once again, in the afternoon and evening there should be some clearing.

I'll be back throughout the show with more updates for you. Carol, back to you in the studios.

COSTELLO: OK, I know you're busy, we'll let you go. Rally Caparas with his "Eye on the Sky."
