KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: Now more on that new development on the Laci Peterson case. As we told you for the second time since she disappeared, her house is now being searched by police.
On the phone with us, Suzanne Fawn from our affiliate, KCRA out of Sacramento. She's there at the house in Modesto.

Suzanne, what can you tell us? Are the police there right now still searching the House?

SUZANNE FAWN, KCRA REPORTER: That's right, Kyra.

We're here in Modesto at Scott Peterson's home where detectives have been here for about an hour or two. I can tell you that I've seen dozens of detectives come and go this morning. Many of them have gloves on. Many have gone through his truck, that white Dodge Ram.

Also, we've seen them going through Scott's home. I can see Scott right now talking to detectives and what I've heard, I hear him talking to detectives, looking at a date book, comparing notes as to where he was on a given date.

Investigators aren't saying what they're looking for, but we do know that investigators have made some headway into this case involving 27-year-old missing mother-to-be Laci Peterson.

Apparently, they're looking at new leads in this case and this isn't the first time they've been to his home, as you've said. They've seized his truck before, as well as a laptop and a boat. So this is the latest development thus far in the missing person case for Laci Peterson.

PHILLIPS: Suzanne, you say that police are saying they're making headway. Any details of your -- are your sources telling you anything of what that headway could mean?

FAWN: Unfortunately, this has been a very interesting case. Police are very tight-lipped and they won't elaborate as to what type of headway they've made, just that they're looking at new leads right now.

PHILLIPS: All right. Right now, Suzanne Fawn there at the home of Scott and Laci Peterson in Modesto. Thank you for latest on that.

Police are still searching the house now for the second time since Laci Peterson disappeared. We'll continue to follow this breaking news story, bring you more information as soon as we get it.
