FREDRICKA WHITFIELD, CNN ANCHOR: Let's talk more about Iraq in our Wake-Up Call. Our White House correspondent Dana Bash is on the phone from Washington.
And Janna (ph) -- Dana, rather, what is the latest on this second resolution and where it stands for today?

DANA BASH, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Good morning, Fredricka.

Well, as you said earlier, that resolution could be tabled, as they call it, as early as today. Unclear exactly what the timing is on that. They are still trying to work out the details.

But we are told that at this point, they still want to make it relatively simple, relatively straight-forward, because here at the White House, they still maintain that the authority that they need to use military action against Iraq already exists. And this is something that they are going to do in order to try to get as much international support as possible to try to prove, to try to show that under Resolution 1441, Iraq had to comply with disarming, and that they haven't.

WHITFIELD: All right, Dana Bash, thank you very much for joining us on the phone.
