CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Mother Nature certainly has not been kind this winter, parts of the northeast are in snow misery again and that's why Rally Caparas is here for a second time this hour.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Yes. Yes.

COSTELLO: So give us the travel delays this morning.

CAPARAS: Well, Carol, it's not nearly as bad as we thought it might be last night. The Washington, D.C. Metropolitan airports today, you will see a wintry mix. It's already started. The snow is falling. It's not coming down very hard, but it'll pick up later. There is also expected to be some ice and maybe even some rain mixed in so expect 30 to 45-minute arrival delays early in the Baltimore- Washington, Reagan National and Washington Dulles airports. That will likely double when we get to the evening rush hour. So keep your fingers crossed, especially up in Philadelphia, you could see some of this later on this evening around 7:00 or 8:00 p.m.

Atlanta Hartsfield, the FAA has just issued a ground delay program. That means you can expect 30 to 45-minute arrival delays regardless of where you're coming from into Atlanta Hartsfield today because of low clouds, rain and reduced airport surface visibility.

St. Louis and Cincinnati-Covington airports, you will both see some delays later on this afternoon and evening, low clouds, snow, ice.

The western half of the United States looking pretty good today -- Carol.

COSTELLO: Well at least that's good news.

CAPARAS: Yes. Yes.

COSTELLO: Rally Caparas, many thanks to you.

CAPARAS: Sure.
