CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Well it is still snowing in a few places across the country and it could be enough to irritate air travelers.
Our "Eye on the Sky" Rally Caparas is here to tell us about possible delays.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Carol, nothing like what we've seen. It's going to be one of those days that, you know Friday, a busy travel day for you, folks, we're not going to see much at all as far as delays are concerned for a change.

COSTELLO: Yes.

CAPARAS: Yes, I don't know the last time that I said that, but here I am saying it. There will be some minor delays.

Into the New York Metropolitan area and Philadelphia today, you'll see early 30 to 45-minute arrival delays. There's some light snow, some departure flight de-icing and it'll move into the area here shortly; but it will be gone before the evening rush, so there'll be on-time schedules this evening.

The D.C. Metros, hats off to the airport authorities at Baltimore, Dulles and Reagan National, along with air traffic control, they stayed ahead of the game yesterday. Delays were pretty much minimal. There were delays, but they did a great job in keeping things clear. And it should be the same situation today. Afternoon we should see on-time schedules.

Atlanta Hartsfield, we've been under clouds for the last few days. Low clouds and fog will cause 30-minute arrival delays for most of the day. This is going to linger on into the p.m. hours, actually into the evening rush more than likely.

And then Houston and Memphis airports, just a little bit of fog but it creates 30 to 45-minute arrival delays. Those low ceilings, it makes it difficult for the pilots to see the runways, hard to get in there. It should be gone by noon Central Time.

The rest of the country looks great. An excellent day to travel, folks. Have a great weekend and I'll be back on Monday -- Carol.

COSTELLO: Now we will with that good news.

CAPARAS: Yes.

COSTELLO: Thank you -- Rally.

CAPARAS: Sure.
