Turkish Parliament Approves U.S. Troop Movement in Turkey

FREDRICKA WHITFIELD, CNN ANCHOR: Hello, I'm Fredricka Whitfield at the CNN Center in Atlanta and we're following a breaking story for you. The Turkish parliament has voted and approved a measure allowing the U.S. troop movement to Turkey, if indeed -- in preparation for a war on Iraq. And also this, according to a Reuters, the Turkish parliament has cleared the dispatch for Turkish troops to Iraq in the event of a war.
So one more time, this breaking news we're following for you out of Turkey, the parliament there approves a measure for the U.S. to allow its military troops into Turkey as well as for any approval of the dispatch of Turkish troops to Iraq in the event of a war.
