CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: So the weather is not so frightening today, but does that mean a pleasant delay-free flight?
Travelocity's air -- no. Rally Caparas is here. He has his "Eye on the Sky," and the news isn't all good.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Well, Carol, it's much, much better, like you said, than it was last week, folks. It's not going to be nearly as bad throughout the entire week, but we will still see some significant delays.

If you're headed into or out of airports in the -- in the Northeast, from Boston all the way down to the D.C. Metros, buckle up, it's going to be a bumpy ride. Take off and landing into the airports from Boston to D.C., it's going to be very, very bumpy. So if you're susceptible to motion sickness, Dramamine, it's a good day for it. The winds is what's going to cause these -- the bumpiness.

And if you're going into Newark, LaGuardia or Philadelphia airports today, look for 30 to 45-minute arrival delays. Strong gusting winds could cause a single runway configuration, especially at LaGuardia. They're most susceptible there.

Miami, down in Florida, they're going to have low clouds and fog, poor visibility to start the day. Expect 30 to 45-minute arrival delays. Should be gone by 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

Chicago O'Hare, the Windy City, not so much wind, but as Chad showed you a little while earlier, there will be some snow later on today so delay-free early. Thirty to 45-minute arrival and departure delays later on this afternoon and evening, snow and departure flight de-icing.

And then Minneapolis-St. Paul will see 30-minute arrival and departure delays, snow, de-icing, poor visibility, will improve by the evening rush.

Not so bad out West, it looks really, really good as usual.

COSTELLO: It sounds like heaven.

CAPARAS: Yes.

COSTELLO: That sounds like heaven compared to last week's hell.

CAPARAS: I know for sure, for sure.

COSTELLO: Rally, many thanks to you.

CAPARAS: Yes.
