Eye on the Sky: Air Travel Delays

CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: OK, we do have Rally Caparas on the phone right now -- Rally.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Hello, Carol, you found me. Well here I am.

And the people on the East Coast will be happy to hear, from Boston to Miami and all the major airports in between, you'll have excellent flight conditions and on time schedules all day. A rare event for sure.

Chicago O'Hare, Chad told you about the snow, well you'll be delay free until about 3:00 p.m. Central Time, then you'll start to see 60-minute plus. And I'm being optimistic with that, expect more like two to three-hour arrival and departure delays into and out of that major airport. Midway will see some delays as a result also.

Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston, 30 to 45-minute arrival delays early, low clouds, fog, poor surface visibility. It should be gone by 10:00 a.m. Central Time.

Out West, only Denver and Salt Lake will see some short-term 30- minute arrival delays because of snow and poor visibility. The rest of the West looks great.
