CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: All of DAYBREAK's old friends are coming back. Rally Caparas here. He has his "Eye on the Sky." So if you're headed off to the airport, you've got news.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAVEL SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Carol, it's a great day to come back for the first day in quite some time. Things are going to look pretty good for you, folks.

If you're headed into or out of the airports in the Northeast today, the only one that I have any news for you for is Boston. Boston's Logan had many, many delays yesterday. They had some downed equipment. Glide slope that helps you land, well, that thing was out of service. They had hour-and-a-half, two-hour delays.

Today a different story, however, low clouds, rain, early morning fog, some poor visibility. Should see some clearing conditions later on this afternoon and evening for on-time schedules thereafter, but 30 to 45-minute arrival delays until around noon or so. So be ware there.

But from the rest of the airports, from Miami all the way down -- well, actually, from New York City all the way down to Miami, and you might as well just throw in all of the airports east of the Mississippi River today, excluding Boston, are going to see excellent flight conditions and on-time schedules. That's a rarity for this time of the year, folks, as you'll soon learn. It's severe weather season, and we're about to see a whole bunch of stuff break loose.

Speaking of that, let's go to Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and Denver. You're going to see 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays during the p.m. hours. Delay free right now, that's going to change. Chad's been telling you about the weather coming into "Tornado Alley," so to speak, well that's going to limit flight routes into and out of those major airports. It's going to be a long wait for some of you. Have patience. It looks like those storms are going to happen right around the peak travel period between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. Central Time.

Out West, the Pacific Northwest, Seattle-Tacoma Airport, they'll see 30-minute arrival delays, airborne holding variety. They'll spin you around one time before they bring you in for safety. Low clouds, rain and fog, typical scenario out there.

And then finally down in San Francisco, they start delay free this morning; but later on this afternoon and evening, low clouds, the rain, and the obscured visibility will cause 30 to 45-minute arrival delays and you'll likely see that to start the day tomorrow. Carol, I'll be back in the morning with the latest from Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky."

COSTELLO: Can't wait. We sure appreciate it. Rally Caparas, many thanks.
