CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Some severe weather from South Dakota to Texas today.
It's time to check in with Travelocity's air traffic expert to see how that's going to affect your travel today.

Rally Caparas on the phone right now.

Rally, spill it.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST: Good morning, Carol.

How are you?

COSTELLO: Good.

CAPARAS: Well, it looks like the East is just about out of the woods as far as any weather is concerned. That low pressure system is still sitting off the East Coast and in Boston this morning you can expect 30 minute arrival delays, low clouds, some rain, some fog, poor airport surface visibility. But mostly it's going to be a windy kind of a ride into that airport, so keep your seat belt fastened. Those conditions should improve later on this afternoon have evening for on time schedules during the evening rush.

Newark and LaGuardia Airports, they saw some windy conditions yesterday and they'll see more of the same today. Once again, a bumpy ride into and out of that, those two airports, especially at the low altitudes. Keep them buckled and you can expect 30 to 45 minute arrival delays as a result.

In the central United States, St. Louis and Memphis airports still see the worst of the severe weather today. Expect 45 to 60 minute arrival and departure delays as low clouds, rain, wind and then thunderstorm activity will limit flight routes into and out of those major airports.

Dallas/Fort Worth, you'll see short 30 minute arrival delays, low clouds, some mist, poor visibility on the surface and then once again windy conditions at the low altitudes. So, there again, make sure you keep your seatbelts fastened. Houston's George Bush, delay free to start the day but later on this afternoon and evening you can expect 30 to 45 minute arrival and departure delays, low clouds, rain and then thunderstorm activity will make finding a flight route pretty difficult, especially during the evening rush period.

Then out on the West Coast, San Francisco and Seattle/Tacoma Airports both will see 30 minute arrival delays, low clouds, rain, fog, windy conditions all day long -- Carol, I'll see you in the morning.

COSTELLO: All right, look forward to it.

Rally Caparas, many thanks.
