ARTHEL NEVILLE, CNN ANCHOR: More now on that earthquake in southeastern Turkey that has killed at least 85 people. The magnitude 6.4 quake was centered in the city of Bingol.
And CNN producer Fatih Turkmenoglu joins us now on the phone from Turkey with the latest -- Fatih.

FATIH TURKMENOGLU, CNN PRODUCER: Hi. By now, 85 people were killed by this devastating earthquake. More than 430 people were injured.

All of the hospitals in the area are full of the injured earthquake victims. The confirmed death toll is 85, but the authorities say that the death toll is expected to be more than 150 -- Arthel.

NEVILLE: Fatih, I'm really concerned about those students that are trapped under the rubble. Any word as to how quickly authorities or the clean-up crew may be able to get to those students?

TURKMENOGLU: Well, (UNINTELLIGIBLE) the rescue teams are working on is some have arrived from the nearby city, and some are still on their way, (UNINTELLIGIBLE). The local people and authorities are all working hand-in-hand in order to be more helpful. And we can easily say that rescue teams have enough equipment and experience.

But still, there was one student was rescued lately. He informed that he had other friends waiting under the rubble. There were 230 students in the school dormitory, some of them were rescued, but unfortunately some of them are still waiting under the rubble -- Arthel.

NEVILLE: OK, Fatih Turkmenoglu, thank you very much for that report.
