Snow Lifts Sanctions Against Iraq

MILES O'BRIEN, CNN ANCHOR: Live picture right now, Treasury Secretary John Snow at a news conference in Washington lifting the sanctions against Iraq which means it allows, among other things, the export of high-tech items needed in humanitarian areas.
Obviously those sanctions were not aimed at a country, but at a regime. With the regime gone, obviously the administration feels it is appropriate and timely to lift those sanctions to allow for a new government to take hold and flourish.
