DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: Speaking of flight delays, let's get the latest on what today looks like. Our air traffic expert, Travelocity's Rally Caparas, is here.
It has been a busy week.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Tell me about it, it's been terrible.

KAGAN: What a mess at the airports, huh?

CAPARAS: Absolutely terrible -- Daryn.

KAGAN: What about today?

CAPARAS: Well today it's not going to be so bad. We'll still have some moderate delays, but it's going to be one of those days where it doesn't look really bad outside but lots of clouds, poor visibility, it's going to create plenty of delays. Still a chance of severe weather, we'll tell you how it's going to affect you today.

If you're flying in to the New York City Metropolitan airports today, expect 30 to 45-minute arrival delays. Low clouds and fog, poor airport surface visibility will slow things down there moderately. Not real long delays.

Now Newark's airport, they're still going to see some significant delays with about 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays. They're still transitioning to the new air traffic control tower. The air traffic controllers are starting to get comfortable with their new digs. But until then, you can expect 60-minute arrival and departure delays at Newark.

Philadelphia and the D.C. Metros, low clouds and fog. That's going to be an all-day affair. P.m. thunderstorms are going to roll in later on. It's going to create 45-minute arrival and departure delays down there.

Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati-Covington, they will again see 35 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays. Morning fog, the low clouds and then the p.m. thunderstorms will limit flight routes into the Great Lakes region.

Chicago O'Hare, they won't see much in as far as weather is concerned, but the low clouds will still hamper the operations there. The thunderstorms to the east will block the routes into Chicago O'Hare significantly, hence you'll have 45-minute arrival and departure delays.

And then out on the West Coast, the only airport, once again, with any concerns is San Francisco. But this time it's not the clouds and the fog, it's strong gusting winds and an easterly wind which forces a less-than-favorable runway configuration. Thirty to 45- minute arrival delays there.

Daryn, hopefully by Monday everything will get back to normal.

KAGAN: Yes.

CAPARAS: Hopefully this isn't going to be normal for us.

KAGAN: Meanwhile, grab a power bar.

CAPARAS: You got it.

KAGAN: A lot of work there. Have a great weekend.

CAPARAS: Lot to talk -- yes.

KAGAN: Safe travel. Thanks so much.
