CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you are heading out to the airport today, hold on just a minute because you ought to know what to expect with delays. If there will be delays, I should say.
Let's check in with Travelocity's air traffic expert Rally Caparas.

Good morning -- Rally.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol.

Well, you can always expect some sort of delays. Unless weather conditions are absolutely ideal or perfect nationwide, we're going to have something, and that's the case today, but not a bad day overall. Let's take a look at it.

Boston and the New York City Metros this morning, you'll see 30- minute arrival delays of a limited airborne holding variety. It won't be anything on the ground, you'll do maybe a turn or two in holding during the peak periods today and that will be due to low clouds, rain and some gusty winds, but nothing major as far as weather is concerned nor the delays in the northeast. It'll be a great one up there despite the cloudy conditions.

Philadelphia to Miami and all the major airports in between, you'll be delay free all day long. Another day of great travel conditions for you there.

Dallas-Fort Worth, the only real area in the country today with any kind of concerns of delays or significant delays, 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays. The easterly routes will be limited due to en route thunderstorms. It's going to sit right over the Louisiana-Texas border for most of the day, so that'll disrupt operations into and out of Dallas for most of the day there.

The rest of the west, another fantastic day with on-time flight schedules throughout. But overall, like I said, one of the best air travel days so far this year, Carol. I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest from Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky."

COSTELLO: That's good to hear. Many thanks, Rally.
