CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Before you head out to the airport, stick around for just a minute, because Rally Caparas is here and he has his "Eye on the Sky" as always. Tell us.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Well, Carol, four-hour delay for you yesterday, huh, coming to Atlanta?

COSTELLO: Yes, it was not pretty.

CAPARAS: I can imagine. Frustrating.

Well, it's going to be similar to that today here in Atlanta, but we've got some things going on at the middle -- Mid-Atlantic States right now. The Northeast is going to be OK, but the D.C. Metros, they'll see some very thick fog this morning. It's going to be really, really dense. Thirty to 45-minute arrival delays as a result. But it should burn off later this morning, early afternoon for on-time schedules thereafter.

Atlanta Hartsfield, not so fortunate, thick fog, some mist, some low clouds. That's going to mean 30 to 45-minute arrival delays this morning. And then this afternoon, it's going to be thunderstorm activity, low clouds and rain that are going to keep those delays going. They won't be as long as what Carol saw, but they could still be pretty long.

Miami and Fort Lauderdale down in South Florida, they will see delay-free conditions early, but afternoon and evening, 30 to 45- minute arrival and departure delays. Scattered thunderstorm activity, typical for this time of the year, will be blocking flight routes there.

Minneapolis-St. Paul in the Great Lakes region, they'll see 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays just about all day long. Low clouds and rain, thunderstorm activity rolling through there, as Orleon showed you just a little while ago, limiting flight routes. Those delays will persist throughout the day and evening.

Chicago O'Hare, pretty good conditions at that airport right now. But later on this afternoon and evening, 45-minute arrival and departure delays, mostly for flights to and from the West as flight routes become restricted because of the thunderstorms out there.

In St. Louis Lambert Airport, 30 to 45-minute arrival delays this morning because of very thick fog. And then later this evening, right around 5:00 to 7:00 Central Time, you'll see thunderstorm activity limiting routes into and out of that major airport. Then on the West, Denver's airport, they're going to see real thick fog, about a quarter of a mile visibility right now, 30 to 45- minute arrival delays. That should be gone by 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time. Good schedules thereafter.

The rest of the West looks great.

I'll be back tomorrow with yet some more...

COSTELLO: I know, take a breath.

CAPARAS: ... of Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky" -- Carol.

COSTELLO: Thank you, Rally, we appreciate it.

CAPARAS: Sure.
