CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: On to someone who has become a spectacle. Annika Sorenstam has arrived. She has teed off at the Bank of American Colonial for her first practice round, and now she says she is ready for the real thing.

ANNIKA SORENSTAM, PROFESSIONAL FEMALE GOLFER: I am prepared. If I wait another week, three months or three years, I won't be any more prepared. I'm ready to go. This is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I want to enjoy the week. And, you know, everything around it is so different than I'm used to, obviously playing with the guys, you guys, the golf course. You know, I'm in an environment that I'm not really used to. So, you know, those are factors that I have in the back of my mind, but I still hope I can play the best I can, and we'll see what happens.
