CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Well are you heading to the airport today, hold on, Rally Caparas is here. He has his "Eye on the Sky." We're ready.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: I feel like I'm in such control when you do that, hold on, stop, don't go anywhere.

Folks, I tell you all the time, airport schedules are designed based on perfect conditions at the airports. The weather is not going to be so bad everywhere, not any real significant weather. However, low clouds, rain and foggy conditions, poor visibility generally are going to cause some long delays.

Up in New York today, LaGuardia and Newark's Liberty Airport, you can expect 45 to 60-minute arrival delays. Low clouds, fog, rain and poor visibility, like I said. The proximity of those two airports to one another creates a logjam when it's IFR, or instrument flight rules; hence, you'll have some lengthy delays there.

Philadelphia Airport, 30 to 45-minute arrival delays because of the low clouds, rain and the obscured visibility. The reduction in the time is because they have less volume and not nearly as much congestion in the skies around Philly.

The D.C. Metros, there again, less volume. Thirty-minute arrival delays. Low clouds, rain and fog.

Atlanta and Charlotte, they'll see 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays. Low clouds, rain and fog and then scattered thunderstorm activity will kick up later on this afternoon and evening limiting flight routes and making things a little slow there.

Tampa, Orlando, Miami and Fort Lauderdale, we might as well etch this on the screen, it's going to stay there for most of the summer, scattered thunderstorm activity this afternoon and evening. You can expect 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays as flight routes get limited throughout the entire state of Florida.

And then all the way across the country, the midsection is absolutely wonderful today. Los Angeles International will see some early morning fog. It's going to stick around a little longer than usual. About noon or so Pacific Time, it will burn off. But until then, expect 30-minute arrival delays.

Carol, I'll be back in the morning with the latest from Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky." COSTELLO: We appreciate it.

CAPARAS: Sure.

COSTELLO: Thank you -- Rally.

CAPARAS: Yes.
