HEIDI COLLINS, CNN ANCHOR: Jane Juska is living proof that you're never too old to rediscover the pleasures of youth. A few years ago, the divorced mother a few years ago decided to place a personal ad that read, quote: "Before I turn 67 next March, I would like to have a lot of sex with a man I like. If you want to talk first, trollop works for me." As you might expect, she received quite a few responses. And from that, comes her new book all about sex and the single senior. It is called "A Round-Heeled Woman."
Jane, thank you so much for being with us this morning. I think we should get out of the way right away in case people don't know -- what is a round-heeled woman?

JANE JUSKA, AUTHOR, "A ROUND-HEELED WOMAN": A round-healed woman is someone who tips over.

COLLINS: OK, you can tell us more. What exactly do you mean by that?

JUSKA: Well, some people would call her a woman of easy virtue in the old days, in the olden days.

COLLINS: But things have changed quite a bit. Even so, that being said, this ad is pretty sexually forward. You know, women over 60 not expected to be quite so sexually aggressive, at least in our society. Were you just trying to catch people's attention here?

JUSKA: No, I wanted what I said in the ad. And I did. I caught a lot of people's attention. I got 63 answers.

COLLINS: Why did you choose sex as opposed to some sort of hobby that you might be able to do, not that sex can't be a hobby, I guess.

JUSKA: Right. Well, I'd done all of the others. I mean, I did gardening, and hiking and stuff like that. This was left out. I wanted touching, I did. I think it's underrated, undervalued. We don't talk much about it. But it's a very important, very important to human beings.

COLLINS: Let's talk a little bit about your dates, if we may. Is there anyone in particular that stands out in your mind at this point, looking back?

JUSKA: All of them. I began jotting things down in my journal, because I didn't want to forget any of these people. I could never forget. Well, the first one, we were on the third floor of a restaurant, and he said, "I have a really good sense of humor. Watch what I do." And he got up, and he screamed for his medication. He said "Give me my medication. I do crazy things." And he went to the window, put his foot on the ledge as if he were going to jump out.

COLLINS: My.

JUSKA: Yes, and everyone was watching. And I said in my teacher's voice, "Sit down!" And he did.

COLLINS: OK.

JUSKA: So I'll never forget that. That was number one.

COLLINS: A little drama there. That was number one. So a lot of these to follow ahead had something to live up to from that?

JUSKA: The second one stole my underwear. But things get better.

COLLINS: I do want to ask you, has anybody given you a really hard time about this? There might be people out there who say, this is just awful, we can't be talking about this beyond the age of 60 or so.

JUSKA: Well, I'm sure there are people like that. I'm sure they're all over the place, but I haven't met any. I mean, the reception has been amazing. It's been just amazing. People are going like this to me all of the time.

COLLINS: Are they really? What does your son? What do does he think about all of this?

JUSKA: He is not going to read the book.

COLLINS: He is not? He's been banned?

JUSKA: No. He doesn't want to. He says it's just another book I'm not going to read. And that's fine, that's fine. But he was all for this.

COLLINS: OK.

JUSKA: Yes.

COLLINS: I'm understanding that you see right now 3 1/2 men? is that right? What do you mean by that?

JUSKA: The half, I haven't actually met. Every time I get close, he's like 300 miles.

COLLINS: I see.

JUSKA: He's gone. He's not available. But he's terrific on the telephone. So we have a party on the telephone.

COLLINS: Last question for you quickly, one of the men you are seeing is 36 years younger than you. What was that experience like? JUSKA: Well, because he was who he was, it was absolutely wonderful. Absolutely wonderful.

COLLINS: Good for you. Jane Juksa, thanks so much for being with us. Your book "A Round-Heeled woman." Appreciate your time.
