CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you're traveling this morning, stay right there for just a moment, because Rally Caparas is here with his "Eye on the Sky."
Does it look good out there today?

RALLY CAPARAS, TRAVELOCITY.COM: No. No.

COSTELLO: OK, get off the set.

CAPARAS: A tough day, a tough day.

COSTELLO: I'm just kidding.

CAPARAS: Folks, especially those of you in the Northeast today, you're going to see a lot of poor weather conditions. As Chad has been telling you, it's not going to go away anytime soon. Let's get to the delays.

If you're headed into or out of New York City or Philadelphia metropolitan airports today, you'll see something in the neighborhood of 45 to 60 minute arrival delays early, low clouds, fog, poor visibility. And then later on there will be some en route thunderstorms blocking some routes throughout the region, and that will cause departure delays of the same duration. So, arrival and departure later; early it's just going to be the arrival delays.

The D.C. metros, Charlotte and Atlanta this morning, some low clouds, rain and poor visibility, 30 to 45 minute arrival delays. Later on this afternoon and evening, you'll see improved conditions and probably on-time schedules during the evening rush. So good news there.

Tampa, Orlando, Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports, you'll see more of what you've seen just about every day so far -- well, during the spring and summer it's going to stay this way. Delay-free conditions early, then 30 to 45 minute arrival and departure delays as the thunderstorms kick up, visibility is reduced, routes are blocked. Expect it. You can mark it on your calendar every day until about September the 15th or so.

Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Cleveland up in the Great Lakes region, they'll have morning low clouds, some rain, possible thunderstorm activity. That equates to 30 to 45 minute arrival delays. The p.m. is going to bring you improved conditions, likely on-time schedules there, much like the Washington-Charlotte-Atlanta scenario. Good news for you, folks. And then finally in the Central U.S., Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston down in Texas, they're going to see some possible severe weather, as Chad told you, low clouds. There will be thunderstorm activity, reduced routes, a severe weather avoidance program like they saw yesterday. Air traffic control has to work a little harder.

The Western half, once again, it seems like another country over there, perfect conditions, on-time schedules.

I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest fro Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky" -- Carol.

COSTELLO: OK, you've got a busy day ahead. Thank you, Rally.

CAPARAS: Sure.
