ANDERSON COOPER, ANCHOR: We take you live right now to Wrigley Field in Chicago, where Sammy Sosa is making a statement.
SAMMY SOSA, CHICAGO CUBS PLAYER: ... But you know, the media today, you know, they got me up there like I'm a criminal. And that's something that really bothered me and hurt me as a man. Something that, you know, I understand that sometimes a lot of people take it the wrong way, but they compare me to something like, you know, out of this world.

I just, you know, it's a mistake, we're all human and we all make a mistake. Nobody perfect in this world.

COOPER: That was Sammy Sosa speaking. We apparently lost the feed. We'll try to get it back if we can. That was from WFLD, Sammy Sosa speaking after major league baseball officials said that they had tested 76 of his other bats and that they had found no foreign substances in them. They had done the required tests on them. They still have not -- in their words, they have not identified the foreign substance, which was in that controversial bat from last night's game.

We're going to have more on this story a little bit later on in the hour.
