CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Well we hope you're heading to the airport to escape your lousy spring weather. But before you go, Travelocity's air traffic expert Rally Caparas is live on the line.
Rally, any flight delays to talk about this morning?

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Of course. Good morning, Carol, how are you?

It looks like the people in the northeast may end up getting to wear some sunglasses after all. The sun may poke through later on today.

It looks like to start the day, Boston, the New York City Metros and Philadelphia airports will see 30 to 45-minute arrival delays. Low clouds, fog, poor visibility, but it will clear up before noon today. So it looks like we'll have on-time schedules for the afternoon and evening, good news for them for a change.

Tampa, Orlando, Miami and Fort Lauderdale, as the rest of the East Coast, is going to be clear, dry and delay free. They'll see 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays, as usual, during the afternoon and evening as seasonal thunderstorms pop up and limit flight routes into and out of the airports in the state of Florida. But the morning hours should continue delay free.

Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston, they'll be delay free also, but weather is building there. They could see some significant weather in Texas today. Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston will both see 30 to 45- minute arrival and departure delays this afternoon and evening as the thunderstorms break out and Severe Weather Avoidance Program by the FAA is re-implemented. They'll have to steer you around some storms and keep you in the air a little bit longer than usual.

Denver, they're going to see 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays. Low clouds, rain, poor visibility early with thunderstorms popping up in the afternoon and evening. And they'll be limiting flight routes into and out of that major airport for most of the evening.

And then finally on the West Coast, San Francisco, once again the only airport with any concerns, 30-minute arrival delays. Low clouds, some marine layer fog will ruin it -- roll right in and then it'll be gone again by noon Pacific Time for on-time schedules thereafter.

It shouldn't be a bad day in the west as usual. The east, it shouldn't last long. I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest from Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky." Carol, back to you.

COSTELLO: All right, we appreciate it. Rally Caparas live on the line for us this morning.
