CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Heading to the airport this morning, well, Rally Caparas is here with his "Eye on the Sky" to tell us about possible flight delays -- good morning.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Probable, Carol, good morning. Have you ever heard me say if you're traveling to the East Coast or to the Gulf Coast during this time of the year you need to finish your or accomplish your trip before 1:00 p.m.? I know it sounds like an early morning flight, but here's the reason why, folks. It's going to be a long wait for you. You'll hear us talk about coffee later on in the show, listen to it, you need plenty of coffee today.

If you're headed into or out of Boston, New York City or Philadelphia today, you'll see a delay-free schedule this morning. But soon enough, you'll start to see 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays, low clouds and thunderstorm activity. It's going to be throughout the eastern portion of the United States. Lots of problems as a result.

D.C. Metros and Atlanta, delay free also this morning; but they will also see 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays, low clouds and thunderstorms en route blocking routes into and out of those major airports.

Miami, Fort Lauderdale, typical summer afternoon, seasonal thunderstorms later on. Thirty to 45-minute arrival and departure delays as a result.

Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, they're delay free right now, but that will change shortly. You can expect 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays as we get closer to around 3:00 or 4:00 this afternoon.

Chicago O'Hare, it'll be nice at the airport once the clouds and everything burn away. There are some low visibility there. It'll look nice at the airport, but en route thunderstorms are going to create 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays. Coffee, coffee, coffee.

St. Louis and Memphis, 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays. You look out the window at those airports and you'll see why. It's going to be low clouds, rain, thunderstorm activity all day long.

And then finally on the West Coast, San Francisco, just a little bit of delay. Thirty to 45-minute arrival delays until around noon Pacific Time because of the marine layer fog that rolls in. It should dissipate, burn off by noon, on-time schedules thereafter.

The rest of the west looks great. Be ware at Dallas, you could see some delays as the weather builds.

I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest.

COSTELLO: OK. Thank you, Rally, we appreciate it.

CAPARAS: Sure.
