AP: Alleged Immigrant Smuggling Leader Arrested

WOLF BLITZER, CNN ANCHOR: We're getting this story now in from the Associated Press in Houston. Authorities are now saying that they have arrested the alleged ringleader of that smuggling operation that was responsible for 19 immigrants' deaths in Victoria, Texas, not all that long ago. You'll remember the 19 people who were in that truck, that huge truck that had crossed over from Mexico, and most of those victims had died as a result of suffocation inside the truck.
Now, according to the Associated Press, the ringleader, the mastermind supposedly of this operation, the alleged leader of this smuggling ring now under arrest. We're going to continue to monitor this story, get some more details for you and bring them to you, of course, as they become available.
