CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you're traveling this morning, hold on, Rally Caparas is here with his "Eye on the Sky."
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning -- Carol.

COSTELLO: Good morning.

CAPARAS: Gosh, I'll tell you what, it's going to be a great morning in the east. Everybody east of the Mississippi River today, except for two airports, and you can probably guess which ones those are going to be, are going to be delay free. Perfect conditions, on- time schedules for everybody east of the Mississippi River, except down in South Florida once again. You're going to see, well, I see western up there. I guess I should have had eastern airports. That should be eastern airports, folks. There you go.

Miami and Fort Lauderdale, you could probably recite it if you watch the show regularly, mostly delay free. Later on this afternoon and evening, 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays. Seasonal thunderstorm activity will be blocking flight routes down in South Florida. Now it probably won't happen until about 5:00 to 8:00 so no worries until then, the evening rush.

Chicago O'Hare and St. Louis on the other side of the Mississippi River, you're going to see some delays later on this afternoon. Good conditions to start, west arrivals and departures into and out of both of those airports. Low clouds, some rain, thunderstorm activity is going to block some routes slowing things down there.

Minneapolis-St. Paul, they'll see it all day long. Rain off and on, thunderstorms off and on, poor visibility off and on means 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays off and on.

I'm sorry, down in Texas, Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth, pretty good conditions at the airports proper all day long, but a strong ridge or a very long ridge from Wisconsin all the way down to the Gulf of Mexico is forming. It's going to create thunderstorm activity blocking routes, especially to the north and east, slowing things down by 30 to 45 minutes. It gets much worse tomorrow for you folks in that same region.

The west looks great.

I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest from Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky" -- Carol.

COSTELLO: OK, we look forward to it. Thank you -- Rally.

CAPARAS: Thank you.
