KRIS OSBORN, CNN ANCHOR: We're going to bring you more detail now on the explosion at rock festival near Moscow.
Jill Dougherty, CNN's Jill Dougherty is standing by on e phone with more detail on this.

It appears 12 injured thus far -- Jill, what have you learned?

JILL DOUGHERTY, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Well, the details really are pretty sketchy. But what we know at this hour is that there was definitely an explosion, perhaps as many as three explosions, outside of this rock festival that was being held in Moscow near the Tushino Air Base.

The initial reports are, and we can confirm this from the emergency ministry, that people have been injured and there are reports that perhaps as many as 10 people have been killed. That, again, is not confirmed so far.

President Putin, of course, immediately informed and the concern always, of course, is that this could be terrorism.

We'll keep you posted.

OSBORN: Yes, Jill, thank you very much for that.

As details continue to come in, of course, we will bring them to you.

And as Jill referred to, the A.P. and Reuters are reporting at this point that 10 people have been killed so far. An explosion that authorities are just beginning to investigate on the outskirts of Moscow at a rock festival. A lot of youth were attending this. We'll, of course, continue to follow it.
