KELLI ARENA, CNN ANCHOR: A frightening story just in to CNN. Authorities in New Jersey say that they may have foiled a plot by some teenagers to go on a killing spree. The story is unfolding in Camden, New Jersey where there was an attempted carjacking overnight, but thanks to a tip from the intended victim, police were able to arrest three teens.
Police say the teens had a cache of weapons that included two high-powered rifles, a shotgun, three handguns, and about 2,000 rounds of ammunition. Authorities say the three intended to drive around shooting people. The 14, 15, and 18-year-olds are now being held at correctional facilities. We'll have more on this story as the evening goes on.
