FREDRICKA WHITFIELD, CNN ANCHOR: Well time now to check with our "Eye on the Sky," Travelocity's air traffic expert Rally Caparas. He's on the phone with us this morning.
Rally, does it look like there are going to be a lot of delays out there like yesterday?

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Well, Fredricka, as you said yesterday, we kept it real. Well, it was terrible yesterday, as it has been for the last three or four days. And today it looks like there will be some easing, but delays will still be major among the mid-Atlantic seaboard.

Philadelphia and the D.C. Metros today, 30 to 45-minute arrival delays this morning because of low clouds and morning fog. And that fog will dissipate right around midday hour and then we'll start to see some low clouds, rain and fog -- I'm sorry, thunderstorm activity move into the area and that means 60 to 90-minute arrival and departure delays. So expect very lengthy delays mid-Atlantic seaboard later on this afternoon and evening.

Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati-Covington, you can expect to see 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays today. First it will be because of low clouds and fog. Thunderstorm activity is already starting to brew in that area. Afternoon and evening thunderstorm activity is going to be significant and those delays will stay going until about 8:00 or 9:00 this evening. So be prepared.

Chicago O'Hare and Midway, three, four and five-hour delays over the last couple of days, lots of cancellations into and out of that region. However, today you'll see some improvement, 30 to 45-minute arrival delays this morning because of low clouds and fog. And we'll see some of that weather move off to the east and they should have improved schedules close to on-time by this evening. So good news finally for those folks there.

St. Louis Lambert this morning -- excuse me -- expect 30 to 45- minute arrival and departure delays. Some low clouds, some thunderstorm activity already rolling through the area, but it's moving quickly to the east and it should be improved by later on this afternoon and evening.

Memphis, Nashville, Atlanta and Charlotte, delay free at the moment, but they will see 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays. Low clouds, periods of very heavy rain and thunderstorm activity limiting flight routes into those four major airports. And then out west, San Francisco International will see 30 to 45- minute arrival delays. It'll be low clouds. Marine layer fog will roll in. It will be burned off by about noon Pacific Time for on-time schedules thereafter.

The rest of the west looks great.

I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest from Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky." Fredricka, back to you.

WHITFIELD: All right, see you then.
