CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Of course with all the wind and the rain in the air, you can expect some travel delays this morning, I am sure.
Let's check in with our "Eye on the Sky" Rally Caparas who joins us live by phone.

Rally, fill us in.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Carol, watch the stakes (ph), I'm going to move quickly. Pay attention, folks, it's going to be a quick one.

New York to Charlotte, some very thick fog this morning, 30 to 45-minute arrival delays. It's all the major airports along the East Coast. Should burn off later this morning for on-time schedules thereafter.

Tampa and Orlando, delay free early, but afternoon and evening thunderstorm activity will create 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays in Central Florida.

Detroit, Cleveland and Cincinnati-Covington, delay-free starts at all those locations. But afternoon and evening thunderstorm activity will force 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays as flight routes become limited in the Great Lakes region.

Chicago O'Hare and Midway today, they're seeing 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays. That'll last until the mid-afternoon as thunderstorm activity rolls through the area and it will test your flight routes into and out of those airports well into the afternoon hours.

Houston and Houston Hobby airports, 60-minute-plus arrival and departure delays. Those delays could double waiting for the FAA to administer a ground delay program. It's going to be a long wait, folks, so hopefully you're not headed into the Texas Gulf Coast.

But the western half, once again, looks absolutely perfect.

I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest from Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky." Back to you -- Carol.

COSTELLO: Greatly appreciated. Rally Caparas live on the phone with DAYBREAK this morning.
