DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: Let's get back to our top story, and that is the arrest of the former Marine Toby Studabaker for taking a 12-year-old girl from England, a girl he has having a correspondence with over the Internet.
For the latest now, we bring in Jim Boulden in Leigh, England.

Hello.

JIM BOULDEN, CNN ANCHOR: Hi, Daryn.

Yes, we have heard that Toby Studabaker was arrested in Frankfurt, Germany just a few hours ago, and his companion, Shevaun Pennington is already back in this country, back in England. They separated some time this morning. Shevaun is due back here, we've not been told what airport. However, Greater Manchester Police were able to obtain an international arrest warrant against Studabaker for child abduction because of her age.

And there are two important points about that. Senior investigation sources have told CNN that within the last 24 hours the FBI was able to confirm that a computer in the U.S. had images of child pornography on it, and that the allegation is, that computer belongs to Studabaker.

The second allegation that senior sources have told CNN is that Studabaker probably knew all along that she was 12 years old. That's why they've been able to get an international arrest warrant against him for abduction. He's now in German police custody, and presumably, will be on his way to the U.K. to face charges -- Daryn.

KAGAN: Jim, it's pretty incredible to think ever the coordination it must have taken for these international police agencies, whether it was the FBI in the U.S. You have the British involved. I think they went to France first, but ended up in Germany.

BOULDEN: Yes, the trail went cold in France on Saturday night, and nobody knew where they were, at least the police weren't telling us where they were. What they said was the FBI had been extremely cooperative with them. They've also had military intelligence helping them as well, so the Manchester Police couldn't say enough about how much help the U.S.'s government, FBI and military had been giving them. They were also trying to get more cooperation out of the European governments and their police as well. Interpol was helping them as well. And of course this kind of coordination and probably a tip from somebody, or maybe Shevaun, who did call her mother this mother, helped lead them to Frankfurt, and to the inevitable arrest of Studabaker -- Daryn.

KAGAN: Jim Boulden, joining us from Leigh, England. Jim, thank you.
