CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you're heading to the airport right now, hold on for just a second, Rally Caparas is live on the phone right now with the first word on flight delays.
Good morning -- Rally.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol.

A lot of folks (INAUDIBLE) frustrated with what happened. We had thunderstorms break out all along the East Coast and things got real slow for a whole bunch of them. But this morning, the good news is that from New York all the way down to Philadelphia and the D.C. Metros, you'll have very good conditions, on-time flight schedules all day and evening long, so good news and a break from yesterday.

Atlanta and Charlotte, we also will be delay free for most of the day. Then late evening thunderstorm activity, it'll be en route stuff, things that are blocking flight routes, throughout the southeast will create 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays, but it shouldn't get any worse than that in the South.

However, down in the state of Florida, as usual, they'll see some afternoon and evening thunderstorm activity fire up and that will create 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays. It will be very scattered thunderstorm activity throughout the state.

Detroit, Cleveland in the Great Lakes region, mostly a delay-free day. But in the evening, there again there will be 30-minute arrival and departure delays as isolated thunderstorms will pop up along the Great Lakes.

Chicago O'Hare will suffer some delays as a result of those thunderstorms. Delay free for most of the day there also, but then again, 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays as a result of those isolated thunderstorms.

And then in the western half, you'll see rain and some isolated thunderstorms around Denver, Las Vegas and Phoenix today, but they'll be widely scattered to isolated and it shouldn't affect things at all. Should remain delay free throughout the west.

I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest from Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky." Carol, have a great one.

COSTELLO: You too. Thank you, Rally.
