CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you're headed out to the airport this morning, good luck. Travelocity's Rally Caparas is here to tell us there will be delays today.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Absolutely, without a doubt. You can bet on it, folks, it's going to be one of the worst days so far this year once again. Yesterday, Monday, two of the worst days, two, three, four, five-hour delays for some folks in the northeast. Cancellations were pretty widespread.

Here's what's going to happen for you today.

Boston, New York and Philadelphia, you'll see 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays this morning. Low clouds and some fog, a sporadic thunderstorm or two, then later on, two to three-hour delays, folks. It could double, as some of you learned yesterday. Stay away from those folks that flew yesterday, folks, at work, they're going to be a little grouchy today.

Down in Washington, D.C., they'll start the day with 45 to 60- minute arrival delays. That'll turn to one to two-hour arrival and departure delays later on, same situation, thunderstorm activity later on today.

Atlanta and Charlotte, 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays, low clouds, fog. It's going to be mostly en route thunderstorms. They'll see some rain early. Atlanta, we should clear out later on, but the en route thunderstorms will still harass the schedules.

Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati-Covington, much better whether later on today. Some early low clouds and fog, 30 to 45- minute arrival delays as a result. But later on you should see much better schedules. Departures going to those airports I'm talking about will still see one, two, three-hour delays. Keep that in mind.

Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston, as Chad showed you on the map, weather is building to the east of them. It's going to affect flights going to that direction, 45 to 60-minute departure delays. Thunderstorm activity, limited routes and like I said, to the east. From the east you could see some delays, arrival delays into those airports, also.

San Francisco on the West Coast, 30 to 45-minute arrival delays. Marine layer fog should be gone by noon midday or so Pacific Time. Good schedules in the west.

Not a good story for travel today, folks, sorry.

COSTELLO: No, so bring your patience. Pack your patience, too.

CAPARAS: Yes, that's exactly right.

COSTELLO: Thank you -- Rally.

CAPARAS: Sure.
